John Yates is a people person and is at his best when helping others.  He has a wide range of professional experience starting as a coach at the collegiate level, business owner, nonprofits, and most recently in fundraising and development.

John was born and raised in Iowa, and attended college in Missouri where he began his professional career.  His experiences in college and after afforded him many opportunities to visit family and work in the Savannah area. John fell in love with Savannah and knew it was a place he wanted to live. Having lived in Savannah since 2011, specifically the islands area, he has a firm grasp on what Savannah, and its ever-changing dynamics has to offer to you and your family.  An active individual, you'll see him at a variety of athletic events, cultural activities, on his bike, at the beach and at many favorite restaurants, most of which are not in the tourist brochures!

John is new to the industry and to our team, but he is sure to take his passion for people and Savannah and turn it into success for you when buying or selling a home.
