Savannah City Council to Vote on Proposed Transitional Housing Thursday

Savannah City Council will vote on whether to grant a special use permit to move the Salvation Army’s proposed transitional housing to Augusta Avenue on Thursday.
Savannah Mayor Van Johnson said Tuesday the 12-acre plot of land, located at 2305 Augusta Ave., houses the Francis Bartow Homes.
