Van Smith is originally from Flushing Queens, New York. He moved to Savannah in 2006 and has enjoyed every beautiful aspect Savannah has to offer. He believes that many who move to Savannah are drawn to the beautiful culture, landscapes, and scenery. In particular the food, especially seafood, is out of this world!

Van is an Ashford University Alumni with a Bachelor’s in Business and Real Estate. He also earned his Master’s in Business in Leadership and Organizational Development.

Van has worked for the Department of the Army for over 18 years. Three of those years was spent working for the Department of Defense’s Heidelberg Housing Division in Heidelberg Germany. While working for housing, as a housing referral assistant, he developed the passion for real estate.

Van realized, after buying his first home, that the process should involve a lot of patience and care. Along with his professional expertise, prospective clients will receive all of his focus in buying their dream home or selling their current home for greater horizons!
