What will be known as the philanthropic event of the year, guests will experience a sneak peek preview of Richard Kessler's final chapter of Savannah's Premier Entertainment District, The Atlantic Hotel which will play center stage to the award winning, third annual Savannah Carnaval. 

Guests will be amazed by the awe-inspiring performances including live music by 10-piece Afro Cuban Orchestra, LPT Band, dancing with Savannah Mambo, Capoeira, culinary tastings, a live auction with hand picked curated experiences all while supporting the mission of the SD Gunner Fund. The SD Gunner Fund will be recognizing guest of honor, Richard Kessler with a Legacy Award for his remarkable contribution to philanthropy in our community.

The SD Gunner Fund has proudly served veterans, exceptional children and first responders, while inspiring disability awareness through public education and advocacy. They are best known for their Service Dog training and recipient matching program. This program has changed the lives of over 33,000 area children and veterans over the last 7 years.

Savannah Carnaval is the local organization's largest and most vital fundraising event of the year. The goal of the 2021 festivities will be to fully fund a service dog for a triple amputee local veteran as well as ensure that no child of a veteran or first responder in need goes without during the holiday season.
