Crime Stoppers Hosting Kitten Yoga on Saturday, Aug. 14 in Partnership with Chatham County Animal Services

Crime Stoppers of Savannah-Chatham County has partnered with Chatham County Animal Services to hold two yoga sessions featuring kittens up for adoption on Saturday, Aug. 14 at the Frank G. Murray Community Center, located at 125 Wilmington Island Rd. in Savannah.
“We are so excited about the opportunity to partner with Chatham County Animal Services and Parks and Recreation to bring this unique, fundraising event to our community,” said Brittany Herren, Interim Executive Director of Crime Stoppers of Savannah-Chatham County. “Not only will this be a fun and relaxing experience for our attendees, but it also gives a lot of kittens the opportunity to interact with potential adopters.”
The classes will be open to all levels of experience and all ages. The first class will be at 9:30 a.m. and the second will be at 11 a.m., with each session limited to 20 participants. Sessions are $30 each and include a free water bottle and yoga mat courtesy of Chatham County Parks and Recreation. All proceeds benefit Crime Stoppers of Savannah-Chatham County.

In order to follow the mask mandate reinstated by Chatham County, all participants will be required to wear masks regardless of vaccination status.
