Nantucket’s Meat & Fish Market Open House To Be Rescheduled

Monday, August 16th, 2021

Nantucket’s Meat & Fish Market open house will be rescheduled due to a recent surge in COVID-19 cases affecting Beaufort County. Out of an abundance of caution, the event will take place later this year.

“We’re disappointed to reschedule our opening. However, there is nothing more important than the health and safety of our community,” said Sean Ready, owner of Nantucket’s  in Tanger Outlet II, adding that the staff is already taking precautionary measures including wearing masks and sanitizing surfaces.

The gourmet food market with a New England flair is located in the former Nike Outlet building in Tanger Outlet II, the last stop for food and beverage provisions before the bridge to Hilton Head Island. In addition to top quality meat, fresh seafood and groceries, Nantucket’s offers a cafe and bakery serving Peet’s coffee, homemade bagels, sandwiches (including their popular lobster roll), sushi and a variety of prepared foods, including chicken salad, shrimp salad, loaded baked potatoes, hummus and more.
