Live Oak Public Libraries Announces New Director of Human Resources

Live Oak Public Libraries is pleased to announce Shekelia Joyner as Director of Human Resources.
Joyner is responsible for supporting the library system through employee relations, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, professional development, and other areas of human resources. She looks forward to strengthening and enhancing organizational excellence with her work in HR.
She joins Live Oak Public Libraries with more than 15 years of progressive experience, most recently as Human Resources Manager of Benefits and Compensation for the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System. She has served in various HR capacities in private and government sectors and brings a broad range of knowledge, skills, and competencies to the library system.
Joyner holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development as well as Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management. She is also a proud United States Army veteran.
