Co-founders Tony Woods and John Johnson kick off their Bourbon & Blues tasting series with a part of their proceeds benefiting foster care non-profit Gilliard & Co. on Friday, October 8thfrom 6-9pm at Cohen’s Retreat located at 5715 Skidaway Rd.

“Our mission is to create an environment for people to connect, have some small bites and great music while creating an appreciation of bourbon. We will showcase a variety of spirits and present how they are made, what pairs well with it and what makes whiskey a bourbon - all while putting a spotlight on local non-profits and increasing exposure to restaurants and venues. We plan on a portion of our ticket sales to benefit local non-profits,” shares Johnson and Woods.

“While Bourbon and Blues is a new business, the owners have always been a familiar support for our housing program. Funds from this benevolent endeavor will help us continue putting an end to youth homelessness for all aging out of Georgia’s foster care system” says Gilliard & Co. CEO & Co-Founder Whitney Gilliard.
