DOC Savannah Provides Community, Hosts Events to Locals Interested in Non-fiction Filmmaking

Savannah has become a familiar sight on the big screen, even if that means the Hostess City plays chameleon to an array of different locations.
But for the local group, DOC Savannah, they hope to turn the camera around to those making an impact locally and highlight the immense beauty of the city as Savannah rather than a stand-in for other locations," said one of the group's co-founders Abbey Hoekzema.
