The Rotary Club of Metropolitan Savannah and Thomas & Hutton present "Blood, Sweat, and Beers," a fundraiser benefiting Girls on The Run of Coastal Georgia and Low Country on Nov. 13 from 3-6 p.m. at Coastal Empire Beer Company, 79 Ross Road in Savannah.

The event will include music by DJ Jose Ray, snacks, a raffle, fun activities, and a costume contest with prizes for the most creative running attire. Ticket purchase includes two raffle/activity tickets, two drink tickets, and a commemorative event koozie.

Tickets are $65 and are available for purchase via the Metro Rotary website.

Metro Savannah Rotary President Cecilia Arango said, “This year’s international rotary theme is empowering girls. This fundraiser benefits our annual service partner, Girls on the Run. The funds received will go toward scholarships to help elementary school girls in our local communities participate in the Girls on the Run program at their area schools and community centers. This program inspires girls to become future leaders and provides them the skills and voice to build confidence and enact action.”
