Vineyard Vines Hosts Fundraising Shopping Event for The Salvation Army of Savannah to Benefit their Annual Red Kettle Campaign

Wednesday, December 15th, 2021

The local Vineyard Vines will be hosting a fundraising shopping event for The Salvation Army of Savannah’s (TSA) annual Red Kettle Campaign on Thursday, Dec. 16 at their store location, 301 W Broughton St #1A, Savannah. From noon – 2 p.m., Vineyard Vines will donate 20% of all sales to TSA to support their vital holiday fundraising campaign. Volunteer bell ringers and local personalities from  I-95: The Rock of Savannah radio station will also be joyfully ringing the bell outside of the store to accept donations.

The Red Kettle Campaign is the best way for the community to get involved with The Salvation Army’s mission. There is still a great need among families this holiday season. The only way The Salvation Army of Savannah will be able to meet this need is if local community donors help the organization ensure that ‘Hope Marches On’ for our neighbors this holiday season and beyond. Without this support, The Salvation Army could not provide desperately needed food and lodging to people in need in our region year-round.

“We are overjoyed that Vineyard Vines is hosting this event for our Red Kettle Campaign, and that our friends from WIXV radio are joining in the festivities. Because of supportive partners like this, The Salvation Army is more likely to be successful in raising the necessary funds to help society’s least fortunate; and during these challenging times, we need all the help we can get to sustain our programs for the families we serve,” said The Salvation Army of Savannah’s Major Paul Egan. “We are so grateful that shoppers at Vineyard Vines have the opportunity to get involved with our mission of ‘Doing the Most Good.’ Every dollar goes straight back to the Savannah community and will help provide meals, financial assistance, and support for our many programs that make a difference in lives every day.”

Every donation provides help and hope to those in need, and all gifts stay within the greater Savannah community. The public has an opportunity to donate directly to the famous red kettles around the region during the holiday season or via the online donation platform at www.RedKettleSAV.givesmart.com or by texting “RedKettleSAV” to 76278. Donations are also welcomed throughout the year via the organization’s website at www.salvationarmygeorgia.org/savannah/ or by calling 912-651-7420.
