The Dove Street Festival of Lights™, an Island holiday tradition for 30 years, returned last December in its neighborly location in North Forest Beach. A gift to our community by the Dove Street Neighbors, over 45,000 visitors enjoyed the magic of the cascading and tastefully tacky display.

"Our neighbors on Dove Street have always demonstrated true Hilton Head Island community spirit. For 30 years, they have given their time, homes, and street generously to enhance the Holiday Season on the Island. Their focus on giving back to Deep Well and Island Rec is a true display of what it means to be an Islander." says Mira Scott of the Forest Beach Owners Association. 

"The holidays didn't feel the same without our light display over the past few years. We all wanted to bring back something we knew would make people smile. Knowing that we brought joy to 45,000 visitors makes the effort worthwhile." Said Paul Beckler, a Dove Street Neighbor. "Our hearts are warmed knowing that we were able to raise $4,500 for Islanders in need. We also appreciate the Town of Hilton Head Island for helping to make the event safe; we could not have managed all this without the Town."
