After Port Wentworth City Manager Resigned Last Week, City Names Police Chief as Interim

Port Wentworth Police Department (PWPD) Chief Matthew Libby has been appointed as interim city manager by mayor Gary Norton, according to a PWPD media release.
The city manager post was left vacant after Edwin Booth announced his resignation during a Jan. 27 city council workshop after working for the city for one year and two months.
