Effingham Catie’s Gathering to Raise Funds for CURE Childhood Cancer

Tickets are now on sale for Catie’s Gathering in Effingham County, an inspiring evening to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer, planned for Saturday, March 26 at Clarence Morgan Complex in Springfield (1750 Georgia 21 South). Carlson & Co. is the title sponsor for this year’s event.

Catie’s Gathering is consistently voted the best event in Effingham County, known for its creative, and sometimes elaborate, table settings where table hostesses set a theme for their guests to enjoy complete with decorations. The evening begins at 6 p.m. and includes dinner, live music, an inspiring program and a live and silent auction. During the program, Janet Street, former President of CURE Childhood Cancer Board of Directors, will share her son Cam’s inspiring story as her family faced a childhood cancer battle

This event benefits Catie’s Fund of CURE Childhood Cancer which to date has raised more than $2.2 million. Catie’s Fund proceeds are invested in CURE’s Precision Medicine Program which focuses on individualized cancer treatments based upon each child’s genetic makeup.

Individual tickets start at $100 and table hostess tickets as well as sponsorship packages for individuals or companies are available. Details are available online here.
