Live Oaks, Oysters and Good Works
Monday, February 28th, 2022
Gnarled live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. Briny oysters steaming on the fire…the essence of Coastal Georgia. It’s the Coastal Bryan Tree Foundation Oyster Roast. A festive evening and a win for the future of the Georgia coast.
The CBTF has been planting a legacy of canopy trees in Richmond Hill and South Bryan for the last twenty-two years. The annual event features a raffle for prizes from local merchants, a buffet for non-bivalve eaters, with wine and beer available.
“Having fun while doing good!” says Jackie Montesino, President of CBTF. “We have a very popular free tree give-away every year. We especially invite those who have gotten trees from us in the past to help us in continuing this benefit to the community. We invite everyone for a great evening that’s also a win for our beautiful coastal world.”
