Club Car Championship at The Landings Club Offers Complimentary Admission to United States Armed Forces, Veterans, and First Responders

Tournament officials announced today that the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club will offer complimentary admission to all United States Armed Forces (Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, and Retirees), Veterans, and First Responders attending the fifth annual Korn Ferry Tour event. 

The Club Car Championship at The Landings Club is March 28 – April 3, 2022, at The Landings Club–Deer Creek Course, in Savannah, GA.

The tournament’s special Military and First Responder ticket is available Thursday – Sunday and extends to family members and dependents of all approved Active Duty, National Guard, Military Reserve Service Members, Military Retirees, Military Veterans and First Responders.

Please note that a valid ID must be provided along with a Military or First Responder ticket voucher. Fans 18 and under receive free general admission with a ticketed adult.

Furthermore, the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club will offer a full week of activities honoring the Nation’s military. 

Starting on Tuesday, March 29, the tournament will host a military golf clinic at The Landings Club–Deer Creek Course with Korn Ferry Tour pros providing instruction to attending members of the armed forces. During Wednesday’s Skyway Capital Markets Pro-Am, members of the military will enjoy a day inside the ropes serving as honorary caddies. Thursday brings the Opening Ceremony at 6:45 a.m. on Hole No. 10 tee and features a military official hitting the ceremonial first shot of the tournament. Also kicking off on Thursday is the Hero Hut. This venue is located off Hole No. 17 green and is open to all ticketed military and their families from Thursday, March 31 to Sunday, April 3. The Hero Hut includes complimentary food and beverage. Friday’s Executive Women’s Day presented by Hancock Askew & Co. and Bank of America will include Command Sergeant Major JennyAnne C. Bright of the United States Army as a member of the esteemed panel. Then on Saturday, Military Appreciation Day with Bank of America takes center stage, offering a full day of pageantry honoring our Nation’s heroes. Fans will be treated to an array of military equipment throughout the tournament property, including tanks, jeeps, aircraft, and more. Galleries around the 18th green will witness military personnel tending the flag, as well as a special military representative announcing the Korn Ferry Tour field of players as they approach the green. Saturday’s special day of celebration will conclude with a military paratrooper descending onto Hole No. 18 green displaying an American Flag, followed by a closing ceremony with live music and fireworks.

In 2022 the Club Car Championship has also expanded its relationship with the military through a new recycling program. Beginning with this year’s event, all drinks sold on the tournament grounds will be served in either an aluminum can or aluminum cup. All aluminum waste will be donated to the Recycling Center at Hunter Army Airfield.
