On March 10, 2022 local AIA (American Institute of Architects) Savannah members head to the Capitol in Atlanta, Georgia to advocate for the booming built environment in our city. A group of 15+ practicing architects and associates will meet with our area’s elected officials to discuss pertinent architecture legislation as it relates to our community. Some of those topics include, but are not limited to: 

• Historic Tax Credits

• Permitting Parameters + Fees

• Municipality Design Requirements 

As the professional service organization that represents Savannah area member architects, AIA Savannah will utilize this trip to maintain its position as stewards of Savannah’s distinguished architectural heritage.
