Step One Automotive Group will present their Local Hero Award to Savannah Police Department SWAT Phillip Collard during their 30th monthly Grab-n-Go Meal event for first responders on Friday, April 15th from 11am to 2:00pm at Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Fiat’s location at 1101 Chatham Parkway, Savannah GA.

"We are honored to recognize SPD Sergeant Phillip Collard and his SWAT Team during National Volunteer Month. They protect and serve our community every day, and still make time and effort to volunteer and support Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision’s biggest fundraiser.”said Step One Automotive Group Marketing Manager Maja Ciric.”

Leslie Eatherly, Director of Development Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision stated, “I am nominating Sgt. Collard and our local Savannah SWAT team because these guys have dedicated the last 6 years to our Annual Dining in the Dark fundraiser. They donate their time to help us raise much needed money to support the mission of the Center. Not only do they risk their lives each and every day; they find the time to give back and help support local nonprofits like the Center. We couldn’t do this event without them.”

The Award presentation is at 12 noon during the 30th Grab-n- Go Meals with interview availability following a brief ceremony.
