Tormenta FC, WJCL 22 Enter Broadcasting Deal for 2022 League One Season

South Georgia Tormenta FC and ABC-affiliate station WJCL 22, which serves southeastern Georgia's Coastal Empire and southern South Carolina's Lowcountry, have announced a linear broadcast partnership for the 2022 USL League One season. As part of the partnership, WJCL affiliate station, MeTV, will air Tormenta FC’s home match live this Saturday, April 16, at 7 p.m. ET against defending League One champion Union Omaha.

WJCL 22 will air 14 additional Tormenta FC matches this season following WJCL 22 News at 11:00 on Saturday nights. Fans and followers in the Statesboro or Savannah market can watch the match on the following stations.

2022 will be Tormenta FC and WJCL 22’s second year of partnership after the two organizations secured a historic deal in 2021 to air the club’s first-ever linear broadcast.
