Lowcountry Made Port Royal Markets Now Only on Second Saturdays, Starting June 11
Tuesday, May 17th, 2022
Look local first for your home goods, sweets and gifts this summer at the Port Royal Lowcountry Made Markets. Start by shopping for a locally-made Father’s Day gift at the market on Saturday, June 11. The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Live Oaks Park, 904 14th St. in Port Royal.
If you’re from the Bluffton or Hilton Head area, the Port Royal markets are also a great excuse to visit this charming town. There’s a ton to do before and after you peruse the market: Grab a cup of coffee from Corner Perk Port Royal in the heart of downtown. Search for alligators, birds and other wildlife in the Cypress Wetlands. Or visit The Sands Beach — where there’s an observation tower to look for dolphins and other wildlife, a beach area where the kids can look for shark teeth, and a community beer garden for the adults!
The Port Royal Lowcountry Made Market is held at Live Oaks Park — about a 7 minute walk from Corner Perk and the Cypress Wetlands. Peruse the stalls of over 30 local vendors set up amongst the trees.
The artisan market features only local artists, artisans and small businesses from art and home goods to jewelry, ceramics and baked goods.
