In addition, many of them are keeping interchange rebates, keeping debit rebates, padding interchange, charging made-up fees, forcing downgrades by using wrong MCC codes, wrong interchange flags, wrong gateways, etc.” Day helps his largest clients save millions of dollars each year in credit card processing fees and his average clients save over $30,000 per year in fees.
