Second Effingham Diversity and Inclusion Conference to Focus on Engaging People with Disabilities

The Savannah Interagency Diversity Council and the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce will host their second Effingham County Diversity and Inclusion Conference on Saturday, May 21, at the First Baptist Church of Rincon, 201 East 6th Street Rincon, GA 31326. Registration and networking begin at 8:30am with presentations from 9am to 12:30pm. This year’s conference will focus on understanding the many dimensions of physical, mental and developmental disabilities, and engaging in the workplace and in the community with those who have disabilities.

All are welcome to attend. Admission is free, but in-person seating is limited, and pre-registration at https://bit.ly/DiversityEffingham is requested. The conference will also be streamed live at the chamber of commerce's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/EffinghamChamber).

Disability 411 -The Do’s & Don't of Disability Etiquette
