Savannah Film Alliance Announces Meeting

I am VERY excited to announce that the Savannah Film Alliance is finally returning for our first in-person meeting of the full local entertainment industry since the Honors Gala at the end of 2019! We will be meeting in our usual spot at Savannah Tech from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on June 30, 2022. I’ll send out a weekly reminder, but please go ahead and put it on your calendar!
We have many issues to discuss as a group. The team behind KAT-5 Studios is going to attend to give us all an update on their status and answer everyone’s questions about this project. We will also hear from the Savannah Film Commission and former state representative Craig Gordon is going to fill us all in on the Georgia Entertainment Caucus in Atlanta and discuss the possibility of expanding it to Savannah. Randy Davidson with Georgia Entertainment News will provide us some insight on how the industry is rebounding from COVID-19 across the rest of the state and we will also see how everyone feels about the possibility of planning and holding another Honors Gala. As always, everyone will be welcome to get involved in the discussions and make announcements to the group. In fact, if any of you have something to discuss and would like to be placed on the formal itinerary for the meeting, shoot me an email and let me know! Also, feel free to invite anyone else that you believe may like to participate.
Congratulations to everyone for working so hard to build the local entertainment industry back up to record levels. I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the end of the month!
