Savannah AMBUCS is excited to announce the 11th Annual Celebrity Bowlapalooza event with a Kick-Off Party on July 21st, 2022. This annual FUNdraising event brings together the community’s high-profile leaders, schools, and leading corporations with the organization’s rock star League of Exceptional Bowlers for one spectacular day of fun. All media are invited to attend this important event that highlights the best of our local non-profit community services.
The annual event begins with a Kick-Off Party on Thursday, July 21st, 6-10 pm, at Savannah Station, and includes a sit-down dinner provided by B-Local Catering, a silent and live auction, and formally introduces the celebrity bowlers to the community so they may officially begin their fundraising efforts. In an unprecedented event, tickets are already sold out for this year’s event. The silent auction opens Monday, July 18th, and can be accessed online using the link below.
"Last year, we set a fundraising record for Savannah AMBUCS," said President of Savannah AMBUCS Kevin Sheehan. "This year is already starting stronger than the last. This means more Amtrykes to those in need, more scholarship money for those with different abilities at Savannah Tech, more scholarship money for therapy students, and more support for our bowling and baseball leagues. 2021 brought us a newly renovated AMBUC Park thanks to Chatham County and the introduction of Savannah's first and only Challenger League, Little League's adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. This year is looking to be our most successful yet. As we continue to expand our mission of 'Inspiring Mobility and Independence for All,' the community support has been overwhelming. It stands true that every year our celebrity bowlers are blown away once they see the direct impact their fundraising has on the community, and 2022 is turning out to be no different."
Celebrity bowlers will be announced during the kick-off event.
