Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is pleased to announce the WISH Atlanta Sneaker Design Scholarship, generously funded by the WISH Foundation and entrepreneur and philanthropist Lauren Amos, board chair of the WISH Foundation and Founder of WISH, Atlanta's premier boutique and online clothing store for streetwear clothing and shoes.

SCAD launched Sneaker Design minor in Spring 2022, the newest advancement in curriculum to propel graduates to the top of the growing, global $80+ billion-dollar sneaker industry. Offered within SCAD’s top-ranking School of Fashion, the sneaker design minor exemplifies SCAD’s elite status as the global leader in art and design education, innovation, and creative business leadership, and fortifies the university’s mission to prepare students for professions at the forefront of evolving industries. The program includes five courses specifically created to develop students’ knowledge and design skills in sketching, rendering, concept development, digital prototyping and branding for luxury and high-performance sneakers.

Beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year, the WISH Atlanta Sneaker Design scholarship will be awarded to three talented students and rising stars pursuing a minor in sneaker design at SCAD. This scholarship, made possible by Amos, exemplifies her extreme generosity to SCAD students and unwavering support and inspiration for the next generation of streetwear’s creative visionaries and leaders.
