District Live at Plant Riverside District Announces Expanded 2022 Schedule Featuring Live Music, Comedy and More

District Live, a state-of-the-art live music venue at Plant Riverside District in Savannah, Ga., recently announced a full line-up of live entertainment through the end of 2022. The schedule includes performances by top musicians and national comedians as well as a live recording of the popular Not Another D&D Podcast.

“At Plant Riverside District, we’re proud to be known as Savannah’s Entertainment District and want to continue to raise the bar, offering exceptional performances and live entertainment experiences,” said Scotty Henley, Director of Entertainment at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. “From returning favorites like Bumpin Uglies to highly anticipated performances by American Idol winner David Cook, alternative rock favorites Marcy Playground and the iconic band Melvins, there is truly something for everyone to look forward to at District Live.”

Acclaimed comedian Steve Byrne has established himself as one of America’s most talented, versatile stand-up comedians. Over the course of his 20-year career, Byrne has appeared on "The Tonight Show" 10 times and has been featured in movies including "Couples Retreat" and "Four Christmases." Gary Cannon, a renowned comedian who has served as Conan O’Brien’s warm-up act for more than 15 years, will serve as Byrne’s opening act. Presented in conjunction with Big Comedy Network.

BADFISH
Wednesday, September 21 — 8 p.m.

A tribute band with a dedicated following, Badfish channels the spirit of reggae rock and ska punk band Sublime. The band performs Sublime’s greatest hits, including “What I Got” and “Santeria,” with a passion and fury that is entirely their own. Presented in conjunction with LiveNation.

THE ORANGE CONSTANT

Georgia-based band The Orange Constant has a vintage rock sound with a contemporary twist. The former AthFest headliners are known for their instrumental mastery with psychedelic undertones, progressive composition and spontaneous, pop-like sensibility. Presented in conjunction with LiveNation.

Melt is a New York City-based band with a passion for soul, psychedelia, existential pop and ethereal jams. Best known for their Billboard charting single “Sour Candy,” Melt has a genre-fluid sound inspired by an eclectic mix of top artists, including Diana Ross, Wilco, The Grateful Dead and Maggie Rogers.
