Savannah State University Celebrates Homecoming 2022

“We are excited to welcome alumni and friends back home for the biggest tailgate in the South,” said Moncello Stewart,Homecoming Committee Chair. “Our annual fish fry and yard fest events promise a lot of fun, and we can’t wait to crown our new Mr. and Miss Savannah State University.”

Established in 1890, Savannah State University is the oldest public Historically Black College and University in Georgia and the first institution of higher learning in the city of Savannah. Students select majors from 30 undergraduate and five graduate programs in four colleges — Business Administration, Education, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and Sciences and Technology.
