Zunzibar, the festive bar adjacent to Zunzi’s in downtown Savannah, invites guests to gear up for cooler temps and embrace a wintery theme just in time for the holiday season. Opening Nov. 15 and continuing through Feb. 15, 2023, Zunzibar will transform into a ski lodge to give guests the fresh-off-the-slopes feeling.

The popular beach-themed bar makes a 180 with its new winter wonderland adornments. Guests will get merry with igloos, snowy decorations, and winter-themed drinks, including hot cider, hot chocolate, and coffee, each paired with an alcohol option. The drink menu also boasts beer and wine along with a variety of new cocktails and shot-skis.

Among the featured cocktails and shot-skis are:
Northern Light with Empress 1908 gin, Aperol, Peychaud’s bitters, lemon, and Champagne
Winter Siesta with Herradura Silver, orange liqueur, ginger beer, cranberry, lime, rosemary, and a sugar/salt rim
Back Country with Buffalo Trace, Cask & Crew Walnut Toffee whiskey, lemon, Cherry Bark vanilla bitters, and allspice dram
Sugar Cookie Shot with Baileys Irish Cream, butterscotch schnapps, triple-sec, Kahlua, whipped cream, and cinnamon
Frozen drinks including Cold Fashioned with Maker’s Mark bourbon, bitters, cane sugar and orange

For cheery bites, guests can enjoy Zunzi’s wings with a choice of five flavors and a selection of Frostbites including peri-peri cheese dip, Slaap chips (tortilla chips with a choice of toppings), and lekker spread (a choice from a variety of spreads such as hummus, avocado, ziki, and curry chicken salad) with pita. Guests also can head next door to Zunzi’s, Zunzibar’s fast-casual sister concept known for its award-winning sandwiches.
