District Live at Plant Riverside District Announces Live Performances by Corey Smith, Samantha Fish, TAUK and More in 2023

District Live, a state-of-the-art live music venue at Plant Riverside District in Savannah, Ga., recently announced a genre-spanning line-up of live music performances for January and February 2023.

“District Live is set to be the ultimate live music destination for 2023 with the tremendous bands we have on the schedule, not to mention the additional acts we plan to announce soon,” said Scotty Henley, Director of Entertainment at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. “As Savannah’s Entertainment District, we always strive to provide variety, and these next few months will be no exception as we present country singer Corey Smith, blues guitarist Samantha Fish, rock-fusion band TAUK with powerhouse vocalist Kanika Moore and an Amy Winehouse tribute band on the District Live stage.”

COREY SMITH
Thursday, January 19 and Friday, January 20 — 8 p.m.

A Georgia native, Corey Smith has won over country music fans across the nation with his authentic, tell-it-like-it-is lyrics. To date, he has sold over one million concert tickets, 1.5 million digital singles and more than 220,000 albums. Smith’s live performances invite fans to leave their troubles at the door and dance and sing along to his most popular songs, including his coming-of-age anthem “Twenty-One.” Presented in conjunction with Live Nation.

SAMANTHA FISH
Tuesday, January 31 — 8 p.m.

Award-winning artist, singer-songwriter and guitarist Samantha Fish will bring her electrifying brand of blues and rock to the District Live stage. Fish began playing the guitar at the age of 15 years and quickly made a name for herself in the male-dominated genre with her Best New Artist Debut win at the 2012 Blues Music Awards. Today, she is taking the industry by storm with world tours, bookings at iconic venues like historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and standout performances alongside music legends like Buddy Guy and Tab Benoit. Presented in conjunction with Live Nation.

TAUK featuring KANIKA MOORE and FUNK YOU
Thursday, February 2 — 8 p.m.

Four-piece rock-fusion band TAUK has a one-of-a-kind sound that only a decade of live performances can create. Keyboard Magazine best defines the band’s sound as “music that doesn’t adhere to a single genre but, instead, creates its own.” To date, TAUK has toured with Umphrey’s McGee, Widespread Panic and Lettuce. Funk masters Funk You and vocalist Kanika Moore of Doom Flamingo will join TAUK for this special performance. Presented in conjunction with Live Nation.

Winehoused: The Amy Celebration
Saturday, February 25 — 8 p.m.
$20 in advance | $25 day of show
Winehoused: The Amy Celebration is a 10-piece band tribute to the talent, beauty and music of Amy Winehouse. This show has been described as a "full-fledged Amy party that will leave you breathless!" and features rich background vocals, lush horns and tons of style.
