Friday, January 20th, 2023
The Savannah Book Festival (SBF) will celebrate its 16th year as one of the finest invitation-only literary festivals in the country this Presidents’ Day weekend, February 16-19. SBF presents nationally-recognized, best-selling and emerging authors over the four-day weekend.
The Festival’s main event, Festival Saturday, will take place on Saturday, February 18th and includes more than 40 diverse author presentations that are free and open to the public from 9 am to 5:30 pm in and around downtown Savannah.
The Festival Saturday lineup is live on the Savannah Book Festival website and includes some of the top- performing books of the past year.
The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams by Stacy Schiff made it onto seven best-of-the-year lists, most prominently the New York Times Top 100 Notable Books of 2022 and was a finalist of the Goodreads Book of the Year competition. It is currently in its 11th week as the fifth-highest hardcover nonfiction book on the New York Times Bestseller List.
Signal Fires by Dani Shapiro is a New York Times Bestseller and made it onto four major best-of-the-year lists, including Amazon’s Top 100 and Time Magazine’s Top 10.
To hear from these authors, along with 40 additional authors join us on Festival Saturday, February 18th as we celebrate the written word and its role in improving the human experience.
Tickets to the three headliner ticketed events featuring Jack Carr, Preston & Child, and David Maraniss are on sale now. Ticketing information can be found at the Savannah Book Festival website and the Savannah Box Office.
Shelby Van Pelt’s Remarkably Bright Creatures is one of this year's biggest debut success stories. An
