Coastal Care Partners Opens New Adult Primary Care Practice Serving Savannah Area

Coastal Care Partners, coastal Georgia’s premier Healthcare solutions company, had a grand opening and ribbon cutting on May 10 for its new Adult Primary Care practice at 4B Skidaway Village Walk. Dr. Amanda Bryan, DO, and Melanie Brainard, FNP, are now part of Coastal Care Partners incredible family of providers and they are currently accepting new patients.

“We’re excited to expand our membership-based medical solutions to our thriving community,” Amy and Scott Pierce, co-founders of Coastal Care Partners said. “With our membership medicine services, Coastal Care Partners offers exceptional Adult Primary Care and Pediatric Primary Care to clients in Savannah and the surrounding areas.” Coastal Care Partners also offers the area’s only comprehensive, nurse-managed aging life care programs. 

Dr. Amanda Bryan, DO, heads the company’s Adult Primary Care practice. A respected Internal Medicine Physician, she is affiliated with Memorial Health University Medical Center. Dr. Bryan graduated cum laude from Furman University where she earned her B.S. degree in Chemistry. After graduation, she did clinical research in Alzheimer’s Disease as well as regulatory work at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). 

Following her research and work at MUSC, Dr. Bryan attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC, where she also served in the National Osteopathic Honor Society. During her residency at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC, Dr. Bryan served as Chief Resident. 

Melanie Brainard has also joined the Adult Primary Care practice as its Family Nurse Practitioner. She has nearly 27 years of medical experience and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Brainard earned her B.S. degree in Nursing at Anderson University and later completed her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Georgetown University.

Before moving to Savannah, Brainard worked in the field of family medicine, oncology/hematology, and hospice. Since making Savannah her home, she has worked in obstetrics/gynecology with David Thomas, MD OB/GYN and Andrew Tucker, MD OB/GYN and has extensive experience in women’s health and family medicine.
