Savannah native and Realty ONE Group Inclusion Principal/Broker Janet Howard represented Coastal Georgia and Realty ONE Group at the RISMedia Power Broker Forum in Washington, D.C. on May 9th, 2023. The RISMedia Power Broker Forum is a part of the National Association of Realtors Legislative Meeting in Washington D.C.. Brokers and Realtors from across America came together to discuss strategies to help Realtors and their clients navigate the ever changing 2023 real estate landscape. Janet shared with the crowd “The more market education you have about exactly what is going on in your local and national housing market, the more you are able to better serve your agents and clients. Knowledge, not fear or headlines, is the key tool to empowering others through home ownership.”

The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings is where NAR members take an active role to advance the real estate industry, public policy and the association. REALTORS® come to Washington, D.C. for special issues forums, committee meetings, legislative activities, and the industry trade show.
