Step One Automotive Group Jeep Homeland recognizes Military Appreciation Month at their We JEEP Together Fundraiser for Veterans Council of Chatham County on Saturday, May 13th from 11am-2pm at 1101 Chatham Center Drive, Savannah Ga.
“We are excited to join our community partners Hunter AAF, Ft. Stewart FMWR and the Low Country Mud Rats for a day of military appreciation while we celebrate our wonderful friends at Veterans Council of Chatham County. The VCCC continues to give their all to our community and we want to give back to them,” shares Step One Marketing Manager Maja Ciric. “With money raised from raffle tickets for gift cards to local restaurants, Nine Line Merchandising and a $150 gift card, Step One will match the total.”
Ciric adds, “Attendees can enjoy delicious food trucks Bow Tie BBQ and The Naked Dog, interactive games and Matted OX, a veteran owned and family operated ax throwing business. Vendors and partners include Nine Line Apparel, New York Life and JK Productions. You can even take an exciting ride at Jeep Homeland off road track with help of our friends from Low Country Mud Rats!”
Veterans Council of Chatham County Chairman Joe Higgins states, “Step One Auto was my first community partner when I took the Chairman's position in 2020. From Step One Local Hero food trucks for first responders, JEEP’s for any event we need transportation for and sponsoring the food trucks for the Veterans Day Parade, Maja and her team have become family. With the money raised today, we will continue to pay off the World War II Monument on River Street.”
