Introducing New Roles for Leadership at a Premier Destination for Meetings & Events in the Coastal Region

Richmond Hill City Center announces new positions among its leadership team who are poised to share their talent, community involvement, and unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding service and extraordinary events hosted at the center.

Caitlin Hawkins, General Manager and Director of Sales

Recently promoted to her new role, Caitlin Hawkins knows all aspects of the Richmond Hill City Center. She has steadily advanced through varied positions of responsibilities with the state-of-the-art venue since 2011, and with her comprehensive experience, can ensure personalized and tailored experiences for clients, be it brides or corporate executives. Caitlin is active in the community, serves on the Board of Directors of the Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, and maintains connections throughout the region. Born in Germany, Caitlin brings a well-traveled perspective to this role with cultural sensitivity and adaptability to meet diverse client needs.

Nina Hickman, Catering and Conference Manager

Newly elevated to the role of Catering and Conference Manager, Nina Hickman specializes in meticulous planning, oversight, and smooth execution of all meetings and events at the Richmond Hill City Center. Nina began her career at the City Center in 2012, moved away to join her husband during a military appointment and returned in 2021 bringing new perspectives to her role. Nina is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Business Hospitality and Tourism Management, which provides a strong foundation for exceptional client service.

Phil Zuniga, Banquet Chef

Phil Zuniga is the talented chef at the Richmond Hill City Center with professional experience in restaurant and hospitality that spans nearly 30 years, including stints at restaurants in Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina. Born in New York City and having lived most of his life in Miami with family from Costa Rica, Phil blends his multicultural heritage with flavors and influences from many corners of the world for memorable cuisine. His strong commitment to perfecting his craft ensures guests are treated to distinctive event experiences.

The Richmond Hill City Center in Georgia is a state-of-the-art hub for conferences, wedding ceremonies, receptions, military celebrations, corporate meetings and family reunions. As the first LEED-certified commercial venue in Bryan County, Georgia, this progressive facility offers a wide range of features and amenities for businesses and regional communities. The venue offers 26,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including 10 meeting rooms and a ballroom that can seat up to 400 guests.
