June, 13, 2023, Seimitsu Announces workshop on FTC Safeguard Rule, What Small Businesses Need to Know. Financial institutions have a new Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Safeguard Rule. The FTC has broadened the definition of a ‘financial institution’ to include businesses from auto dealers to real estate appraisers and more.

The details of the new law require those businesses to have a designated security officer. For details attend the workshop. Talk will be held at the City of Port Wentworth at the Computer Learning and Innovation Center (CLIC). Time: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
