Chatham Savannah Authority for the Homeless (CSAH) is seeking Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for projects in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) FY 2023 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).

The ICH/CoC serves as the umbrella organization required by HUD to work with applicants and service providers through the Housing and Urban Development Notice of Funding Opportunity annually to ensure funds are granted and distributed to qualifying organizations supporting our homeless community members. As the lead agency for the Savannah-Chatham Interagency Council on Homelessness / Continuum of Care, CSAH is responsible for coordinating all service providers’ applications for federal, state, and local funds. 

“With the Interagency Council on Homelessness moving forward with a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan, it has never been more paramount that we consider how we invest in programs and services that address and help support the complexities of the experience of homelessness,” said Jenn Dulong, Executive Director, Chatham Savannah Authority for the Homeless.  

“While HUD funding represents only a small portion of the overall budget needed to sustain programs and services in Chatham/Savannah, the collaborative community process is vital for helping us understand the landscape of homeless services allowing for deeply meaningful investments”

The Interagency Council on Homelessness/ CoC is open to and will consider proposals that meet the FY 2023 NOFO criteria from organizations that have not previously received ICH/CoC program grants. All applicants must submit a letter of intent first including the project type and estimated amount (budget) of the request to the ICH/CoC at [email protected] by July 31st, 2023. Once approved, applicants will be notified on how to complete the application.

New project applications requesting grant review and support from Chatham Savannah Authority for the Homeless (the collaborative applicant) should send completed applications to [email protected] by August 15, 2023, by 5:00 PM.

All renewal and new Project applications must be submitted in E-Snaps by 5:00 pm, Friday, August 30, 2023. The deadline for submitting applications to HUD is 8:00 PM on September 28, 2023.
