Forsyth Farmers’ Market (FFM) is excited to celebrate National Farmers Market Week (NFMW) from August 6-12, 2023. NFMW is an annual celebration that highlights the vital role farmers markets play in our nation's food system.

“We are excited to celebrate National Farmers Market Week because it recognizes our farmers, food entrepreneurs, patrons, and the staff that keeps Forsyth Farmers’ Market thriving,” said Dr. Deidre Grim, FFM’s Executive Director. “We invite everyone to join us on Wednesday evening and Saturday morning and enjoy the festivities while learning about the essential role farmers markets play in our local food system and economy.”

Forsyth Farmers’ Market will be hosting a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the week. FFM will host a pop-up market at EnMarket Arena on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm as well our usual farmers market on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 9am to 1pm in Forsyth Park.

Pop-Up Market - Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm

• ●  Music: Enjoy music while you shop for fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and more.

• ●  Food: Sample small bites from a local chef.

• ●  Kids' activities: There will be activities for kids including healthy food samples and games.

• ●  Free school supplies (first come, first served)

  Saturday Market Activities - Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 9am to 1pm

• ●  Shop: Explore the market and shop with our local farmers and vendors. We accept and double EBT/SNAP!

• ●  Scavenger Hunt: Kids can explore the market and find items on a list for a chance to win a prize.

• ●  Youth Booth Return: Youth will be able to learn about the food system, indulge in healthy food samples, enjoy face

  painting, and shop with local farmers for FREE!

• ●  Design Challenge: Artists can design their own t-shirt to be featured and sold at the market. Details about this design
