Monday, September 18th, 2023
Kewaan Drayton, entrepreneur and business consultant, joins Right to Start, a nonpartisan organization that fights to expand entrepreneurial opportunities for all, as the Savannah advocate to expand local businesses. The goal is to help lift the voices of local entrepreneurs through media and storytelling.
Recently named the 2022 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Savannah Chamber of Commerce, Kewaan K. Drayton is an innovative entrepreneur, dedicated community organizer, and business consultant. His consulting expertise lies in developing impactful business strategies for early-stage startups, often using proven, inexpensive guerrilla marketing techniques.
The rate of new business formation in America has fallen by nearly half over 40+ years, according to U.S. Census Business Dynamics Statistics data. Right to Start strives to give entrepreneurs a better chance of success in their communities. They are rooted in the values of ecosystem building: trust, empowerment, collaboration, openness, diversity, inclusion, empathy, discovery, and hope. They believe in bridging barriers and sharing knowledge and resources.
As an advocate, Kewaan is a door opener for Starters within the Savannah community. He is looking for entrepreneurs who wish to build, amplify, and promote their brand. "I want to let the community know that I am the new Savannah advocate and I'm ready to start meeting with active and aspiring entrepreneurs in the city," expresses Drayton.
Kewaan encourages entrepreneurs to reach out for interviews and share their stories. You can contact him at [email protected] for inquiries. You can also visit his website to view his portfolio and services.
