Step Up Savannah is thrilled to announce its 2023 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 31, at the Georgia Southern Armstrong Center. This year's event promises to be an inspiring and enlightening gathering centered around the theme of "Empowering Prosperity: Bridging the Divide Through Economic Inclusion." Step Up will feature Dr. Janelle Williams, the esteemed President, and CEO of the Atlanta Wealth Building Initiative (AWBI), as the keynote speaker. The AWBI is at the forefront of pioneering initiatives to address the racial wealth gap, making Dr. Williams prolific addition to our event.

Step Up Savannah’s annual meeting represents a significant milestone of remarkable achievements and program innovations over the past year. During this time, the organization has worked tirelessly to ensure programs align with research-based best practices, yield tangible community outcomes, and remain relevant in the ever-evolving economic landscape. The meeting will serve as a platform to review the progress of programs and resources, all of which are aimed at combatting poverty and enhancing economic mobility within our beloved city.
