Thursday, October 12th, 2023
Jessica Leavitt, president of the local chapter of the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC), will be the featured speaker on Thursday, October 19 at the monthly lecture sponsored by Historic Savannah Foundation, a series entitled, “People, Places and Stories that Define Savannah.” The event will take place at the Murray C. Perlman and Wayne C. Spear Preservation Center, 323 E. Broughton. St.
Leavitt serves as Chief Culture and Client Officer at Alair Savannah, a leading custom home building and remodeling firm. For her HSF talk, she will focus on the mentorship work she does on behalf of NAWIC for high schools and Savannah Technical College.
The evening will get underway with a wine reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by the lecture to begin at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public, but space is limited so reservations are recommended.
