P.A.C.K., People of Action Caring for Kids, a public charity that packs and delivers care bags to local children in need, received $32,400 in funds from the Arby’s Foundation during 2023. The check presentation took place Wednesday, October 11th, 2023.

“We are so grateful to the Arby’s Foundation for investing in our community. These funds will help us continue to feed local children in need. When a business like Arby’s steps in to help us, it means children can be children and being hungry is one less thing they have to worry about,” shared PACK Executive Director Malena Stone, “With no paid employees, we depend on benevolent businesses and volunteers to help us do everything from packing bags to hosting food drives.”

“Our partnership with P.A.C.K. is a powerful collaboration. Together, we are not just giving back to the local community but investing in the heart of our shared humanity. It's more than a partnership; it's a commitment to positively impacting where it matters most,” states Howard Solieau, Arby’s Senior Region Director of Operations.

With 2,000 local children on a waiting list for weekend food bags, P.A.C.K. is in need of business and family sponsors to help fill the gap in supply and demand. From delivery to 42 schools and community centers every week to their P.AC.K. Cottages, an emergency duffle bag program for children in crisis to the PACK Boutique that provides a personal shopping experience for children in foster and CASA care from ages birth to 18 years old, P.A.C.K. continues to bridge the gap between the hungry and the fed.
