Savannah Convention Center: SGCCA Approves Plans for a New Hotel

The Savannah Convention Center is set to receive a new Hilton hotel, the Savannah Georgia Convention Center Authority unanimously decided recently.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the new hotel is expected to cost more than $200 million and have nearly 400 rooms to help ease the room shortage for the numerous events at the venue.
There is no date set for groundbreaking, nor is there a construction timetable.
