Savannah Estate Built by Paula Deen Sells for Record-breaking $8.4 million

Paula Deen's luxurious coastal Georgia estate broke a record with its recent sale.
The riverfront estate sold for $8.4 million on Nov. 16, notching a record for residential property sales in Savannah, Ga., Seabolt Real Estate said in a release. The property previously broke a record when it sold for $6.818 million in 2020.
Located on 4.5 acres on Wilmington Island, the estate — with 28,000 square feet of living space between the main house, guest houses and other structures — was built by Food Network star Paula Deen and her husband, Michael Groover, in 2009.
