Omega Construction Breaks Ground on New Plastic Surgery Center in Savannah

Friday, December 15th, 2023

Omega Construction’s Savannah Division held a groundbreaking ceremony today for the new Savannah Facial Plastic Surgery Center, an innovative addition to Savannah's healthcare landscape.

Omega Construction's extensive experience in commercial construction and their deep understanding of the unique challenges in operating within a busy medical practice hub made them the ideal project partner. This morning’s groundbreaking ceremony, held at the facility’s new location at 6602 Waters Avenue, was attended by many team members from both organizations and was a testament to the collaboration and shared commitment to Dr. Minton’s vision.

"We are thrilled to be part of this event for the Savannah Facial Plastic Surgery Center," said Todd Mayo, Omega’s Savannah Division Vice President. The new facility will attract people from all over the Southeast to our beautiful city, so we are proud to have the opportunity to showcase our company’s capabilities and deliver a state-of-the-art facility to Dr. Minton and his team.”

The new Savannah Facial Plastic Surgery Center features custom surgical suites, treatment and examination rooms and Class-A office spaces. Dedicated offices have also been designed for medical and nursing staff, patient consultation, and administrative support. Meticulously crafted both inside and out, the building's design reflects the same attention to detail that Dr. Minton and his team extend to their patients.

"Since its inception almost nine years ago, our practice has grown leaps and bounds thanks to our wonderful and supportive patients and incredible team of providers and staff,“ said Dr. Timothy Minton. I'm very excited to partner with Omega Construction to be able to build a top-notch facility that matches the level of care our team provides this community. The best is yet to come!"

Additional partners on the project include Lynch Associates Architects, Tharpe Engineering Group, Chatham Engineering, EMC Engineering Services, and Provenance Interiors. The project is expected to take 11 months to complete.
