There is an annual cap of $20 million for donations received through the GA Fostering Success Act. When you participate, you receive a 100% tax credit to your state income tax bill for your donation.
“This is an incredible opportunity for Georgia residents to do more good for children in foster care. Young adults exiting foster care in Chatham County face immense obstacles on their journey to adulthood. They have experienced instability and trauma during their time in foster care, and as they reach adulthood, they are thrust into independence without the support system they desperately need. By donating through the Fostering Success Tax Credit program, your dollars work for good. With your support, we will provide youth in foster care with the support and resources they need to flourish, unlocking their potential and guiding them toward brighter futures.” - Kate Blair, Executive Director
This tax credit is available for individuals filing as head of household, couples filing jointly, and for partnerships, S corporations, LLCs, and larger corporations. Limits do apply.
