Coastal Heritage Society to Host Night at the Museum Event January 27th
Monday, January 22nd, 2024
Coastal Heritage Society (CHS) will host a Night at the Museum event on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at Savannah History Museum, 303 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
During a 90-minute interactive program, guests will be trained as honorary night guards and taken on a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum. In addition, historic figures throughout the museum will appear to magically come to life as visitors interact with them.
Guests can choose between two sessions for the 90-minute event at either 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The museum will also screen a showing of the film “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
“We are thrilled to offer this opportunity for children to enjoy an up-close and personal interaction with Savannah’s history,” said Emily Beck, Director of Interpretation for CHS. “Staff and volunteers who participate in this event are always so excited to bring historical figures to life and educate our event participants.”
Tickets for the Night at the Museum event cost $10 for CHS members, and $12 for non-members. To purchase tickets, please visit https://bit.ly/NATM2024.
