Property Transfers: End-of-year Figures Show Housing Market Remained Robust in Chatham County

Chatham County's year-over-year housing market remained robust, according to statistics released by the Georgia Multiple Listing Service.
The median housing price in December 2023 rose to nearly $310,000, a 19.2% increase over December 2022. Even at that higher price, 51 units sold as compared to 29 the year before when predictions of a national recession dominated headlines.
