Veteran Carriers, a local trucking company owned by retired U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Party’s Cliff White and Rob Cooch will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate the expansion of their 20 Telfair Place terminal office at 11:30am on January 25th, 2024.

“Veteran Carriers is an asset based/Veteran owned trucking company with 150 company trucks and drivers. With an expansion of 1500 square feet to 10,000 square feet, we now offer a larger scope of work capability to provide account management, customer services and most importantly the efficiency of an on-site, six bay fully capable dealership qualified maintenance facility. With unprecedented land space of 18 acres of container storage, transloading capabilities and container lift tractors, we are 100 percent asset based with a private fleet of our own chassis,” shares Veteran Carriers Majority Owner and President Cliff White.

“With our new expansion, we are able to supply all the services that the supply chain expects or needs. Our maintenance capabilities for a truck or chassis are 100 percent in house with end to end warranty certified technicians, which allows us to address potential issues proactively, guaranteeing that trucks are on the road when they are needed the most, keeping the supply chain seamless and uninterrupted,” adds White.

“We are blessed with a robust shipping industry in Georgia’s First Congressional District, and Veteran Carriers are an important part of this vital economic driver for Georgia’s coast. I’m excited for this company to continue expanding and employing hard-working Georgians. As a veteran owned company that employs more than 50 Armed Forces veterans, I am proud that Veteran Carriers calls Georgia, the number one state in the nation for business,” states Congressman Buddy Carter.
