Garden City Drops Annexation Plans

Garden City’s mayor said the city is dropping its plan to annex parts of unincorporated Chatham County.
WTOC first reported this plan back in December. Then-City Manager Scott Robider said the expansion was intended to expand services and improve quality of life for residents.
