Friday, March 1st, 2024
The Center for Education Integrating Science Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) at the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus will be offering an extensive range of innovative student programs this summer for rising 2nd – 12th graders. Programs will be open for students to participate in STEAM programming from June 3 – July 26 this year.
New programs this summer include Murder Mystery, Drone Racing and SUGO Bots in addition to familiar favorites such as Handheld Gaming, Make It Move It, STEM in Music, Create with LEGO, Artbotics, and more.
“We look forward to presenting these summer programs each year,” said Timothy Cone, Georgia Tech-Savannah CEISMC Senior Program Director. “Fun and learning go hand-in-hand as families choose programs that best fit their students’ interests.”
These high-quality and uniquely themed summer programs are designed to enhance and encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. During each week, students will experience different themed programming in areas such as robotics, video game design, coding, logistics and more.
Programs will run weekly from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday from June 3 – July 26, and parents/guardians will be invited to a student showcase on the final day. Lunch will be provided each day. For $10 students may stay in aftercare until 4 p.m. Additionally, all programs will include a meaningful take-home component so that participants can continue to expand their STEM/STEAM knowledge after their summer experience with Georgia Tech-Savannah.
Registration per participant varies per program at $300-$350. For more information or to register, visit https://savannah.ceismc.gatech.edu/summer-campus-programs.
